For 100 years, W.B. Howland Company has stood on the same ground in Live Oak, Florida — serving our neighbors, supporting our builders, and growing alongside the community we call home. What began as a small-town hardware and mercantile business in 1926 has evolved into a regional operation spanning hardware, building materials, and truss manufacturing — all while staying true to the family values that built it.

Our roots, however, run even deeper than Live Oak. The Howland family’s mercantile tradition traces back through generations of Florida merchants and ultimately to John Howland, a passenger on the Mayflower. Twelve generations later, we’re still doing what our family has always done: serving our communities with what they need, when they need it.
